Polyether ether ketone also known as PEEK, is a semi crystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained at high temperatures. The processing conditions used to mold peek can influence that crystallinity and hence the mechanical properties, peek can be used at very high temperature (about +260°C) and it shows an extraordinary mechanical strength, toughness, hardness, flexural strength and torsional strength.
PEEK exhibits excellent chemical resistance, very good dielectric propertriesupto +260°C and a very good resistance to all kinds of radiation.
PEEK CA30 is a 30{15077c991a9bc3b3378b06adbadbc3b89f1d6152959aabebc3b5b82eb6a3c1b1} carbon fiber filled grade, which demonstrates very high mechanical strength values, tends to be less abrasive than glass fiber grade while simultaneously resulting in improved wear and friction properties, also exhibits increased part life in sliding application.
PEEK or E30 is a 30{15077c991a9bc3b3378b06adbadbc3b89f1d6152959aabebc3b5b82eb6a3c1b1} glass fiber filled grade, the addition of glass fibers significantly reduces the expansion rate and increases the flexural modules of peek. This grade is ideal for structural application that require improved strength or stability, especially at temperatures above 150°C
PEEK PTFE 20 is a 20{15077c991a9bc3b3378b06adbadbc3b89f1d6152959aabebc3b5b82eb6a3c1b1} PTFE filled grade which offers the lowest coefficient of friction of all filled grades of PEEK, for wear application requiring both high heat resistance and resistance to many acidic and alkaline solutions, this grade is an excellent choice
